How Little Legends works

Thousands of kids in the Denver area have had fun while learning to play tennis and pickleball with us. Our 6-8 week after-school program is designed for beginners. Kids do not need any tennis or pickleball experience. We know that at this age and skill level, the most important thing is for kids to HAVE FUN. Little Legends helps kids grow socially, emotionally and physically. Learning new skills helps them to learn self control, discipline and builds confidence. All of our coaches are Safe Play certified and have completed a background check.

For School administrators:

We bring all the equipment - nets, rackets, paddles and balls

We need access to your playground or gym

Classes are 60 minutes long and usually begin right after school

All coaches have completed a Safe Play course and a background check through the National Center for Safety Initiatives

Meet the Teamβ
Founder & Coach
Ryan Freeman
Our team is led by Ryan Freeman (the Original RF of Tennis - just slightly older than Roger Federer). A USPTA certified Elite Pro with over 30 years of coaching experience. Ryan has been a mentor for new certified professionals and has also served on the national mentorship committee for the USPTA. He is a native of South Carolina, a former school teacher, and a graduate of Clemson University.

Ryan divides his time raising three daughters, coaching tennis, running his non-profit, Zips4kids, and teaching his children's educational program, Ignite Their Spark.

Coach & Partner
Courtney Gordanier
Coach Courtney grew up playing tennis as a young girl. After a short 25 year hiatus from the game, and four children later, she began playing once again. She is a certified USTA coach, an active league player, current state champ and our Junior Team Tennis Coordinator. She has never lost a set to Coach Dre, and often reminds him that she plays tennis "Full Western, Full Time" Rumor has it she even brushes her teeth with a full western grip.

Scott Ferguson
Scott has a background in finance, technology and a lifelong love of sports. He's spent several years coaching kids in baseball, football and tennis. He's been active in Junior Team Tennis for 8 years. Scott is married with 2 kids and a dog.

The same fun and class structure as our after-school program but with flexible times.

Access to school property in the summer varies by location. Please contact us for availability in your neighborhood.
Private Coaching
Our private and small group coaching sessions offer more personalized attention to enhance skills and address areas for improvement. The one-on-one and small- group approach ensures rapid progress.
